Frequently Asked Questions
Are You Insured?
Yes I have full indemnity and public liability insurance, just in case anything unexpected happens.
What if it rains?
Although I seem to be extremely lucky with the weather sometimes it does rain. On these occasions I am happy to continue to shoot in the rain if you are but normally, I would search for a sheltered area or locate an area in doors or even wait for a break in the weather.
What if something happened to you on my wedding day or you couldn’t make it?
In the very unlikely event I can not make it to your wedding, I will try provide an alternative photographer.
I am only having a small wedding; do you offer a discount for fewer people?
Unfortunately not. To be honest it actually makes it that little bit more difficult to shoot, especially when shooting reportage photography as less happens on your day, I also bring exactly the same equipment and give the same level of effort and commitment as any other wedding I photograph.
How many pictures do I get?
There is no limit to the quantity of photographs I take. However I would normally shoot around 700 to 900 photographs for a typical wedding. From these you will probably receive around 300 to 500 fully edited and enhanced images.
What equipment do you use?
I use a Nikon D4S as my primary camera with a Nikon 24-70 f2.8 Lens, I also carry Professional Nikon backup equipment to all weddings.
What deposit do you require?
For Wedding Photography I ask you to pay a deposit of £200 of your final package; this secures my services and your date and makes it unavailable to other couples.
How long before I receive my photographs?
I aim to get your photos to you just as soon as possible, (I know you can’t wait to see them) but during busy wedding months like August and September it can take up to twelve weeks to finish your photos, sorry but the last thing I want to do is rush your photos, I make sure they look their best before sending them to you.
Can I put my photos on Facebook?
Yes of course in fact I encourage you to do so; I will even supply you with Internet Ready versions for that very purpose!
Do you accept credit cards for payment?
Yes I do take Credit or Debit card payments. I can also accept payment by Cheque, Postal Orders, Cash, PayPal and Bank Transfer (Internet Banking)
